1. Chat Room Link
    The web address of the chat room. Send this link to people you want to invite to the chat room.
  2. Link Sending Services
    Shortcut icons to popular email services and social networking sites. Use the shortcuts to send the chat room link to your invitees.
  3. Tabs
    Tabs for accessing the public console of the chat room as well as the consoles you use to communicate privately with users on a one-on-one basis.
  4. User List
    The list of users in the chat room. The icon on the left indicates the status of the user (green for available, red for away). When a user is typing, a pencil icon appears on the right. To send a private message, click the name of the user.
  5. Console
    Area where messages you send and receive are displayed. You have one console for public messages and a console for each user you interact with privately.
  6. Time Stamp
    When you hover the cursor on top of a message, the time stamp of the message appears as a caption.
  7. Administrator Options
    Displays a window with a set of options for the administrator of the chat room.
  8. Print
    Prints the content of the currently selected console.
  9. File Uploader
    Upload a file you want to share publicly or privately with users in the chat room. The size of the file cannot exceed 2 megabytes.
  10. Your Status
    Change your status from available to away or vice versa using this drop down.
  11. Input Area
    This is where you type your messages. A message is sent when you press the return or enter key.
  12. Status Bar
    Displays the number of users in the chat room.
